The industrial pressure transmitter comprises a pressure sensor, measurement conversion circuit, and process connecting parts. Pressure transmitter’s role is to convert the physical pressure transmitters such as gas and liquid sensed by the pressure sensor into standard electrical signals to supply the display alarm instrument, DCS system, recorder, PLC system, etc, for display, measurement, control, and adjustment purposes.

2、When measuring liquid pressure, the pressure inlet should be opened on the side of the process pipe to avoid precipitation and slag accumulation. At the same time, the installation position of the pressure transmitter HART should avoid the impact of the liquid (water hammer phenomenon), to avoid the sensor being damaged by excessive pressure. 3、When measuring steam or other high-temperature medias, it’s necessary to connect a condenser such as a buffer tube(coil), and the working temperature of the pressure transmitter should not exceed the limit. On the other side, the buffer tube needs to be injected with the right amount of water to prevent the superheated steam from contacting the pressure transmitter Hart, and the buffer heat pipe can’t leak air.(https://youtu.be/wTUlXV8hgGg)
