Application of Intelligent Pressure Transducer 4 20ma in Long Distance Oil and Gas Pipeline
2023-07-28 15:09Oil and gas are an important part of the modern energy system. As a link in the oil and gas industry, pipelines play the role of a bridge to transport oil and gas, connecting supply and demand. So the stability and safety of oil and gas resource transportation are crucial.
A long-distance oil pipeline system consists of a head station, distribution station, pipe cleaning station, and valve chamber, etc. During the process of oil and gas transmission, the production and security data of the relevant pipelines, stations, and valve chambers need to be collected, analyzed, and stored to provide a scientific basis and means for pipeline network transmission and distribution schedule.
Therefore, to improve the degree of automation of oil and gas transmission and distribution, it is necessary to synchronize the construction of its supporting SCADA system, to improve the safety, accuracy, and efficiency of oil and gas production, transmission, and distribution management.
In the SCADA system of long-distance oil and gas pipelines, the accuracy and smoothness of detecting parameters such as pressure, oil temperature, and flow rate are the prerequisites for realizing the automated control. In order to monitor the working status and equipment operation of each station, it is necessary to collect the main operating data and status information of each station, including oil temperature and pressure of inlet and outlet stations; flow rate of the first station, last station, and sub-transmission station; oil level, oil temperature and oil storage capacity of oil filling, oil temperature, oil pressure and flow rate of the pumping unit in and out of the pumping unit, pressure and flow rate of the fuel oil; the openness of the pumping station outlet pressure regulating room and the pressure difference between the valve and the valve, etc. For the collection and recording of these main parameters, it is necessary to collect the data and status information of each station.
The collection and recording of these main parameters is an important basis for flow, pressure, and temperature monitoring; starting/stopping pumps; opening/closing control valves; leakage detection and pipe cleaning control, etc. It is convenient for technicians to automatically adjust and comprehensively control the process parameters of the whole pipeline, the alarm value of the equipment operating parameters, and the set value of shutdown (tripping). An intelligent sensor differential pressure for the safe and efficient operation of the pipeline provides the necessary real-time monitoring and control means.
An intelligent dp pressure sensor can monitor the pressure changes in the pipeline in real-time. In long-distance oil and gas pipelines, pressure fluctuations can indicate abnormal conditions inside the pipeline, such as leaks, valve failures, or other equipment problems. When the pressure is out of range, the differential pressure transducer will send an alarm to the SCADA system. Operators receive alarm signals and take quick action.
Pressure transmitter 4-20ma can also record the pressure data and transmit it to the SCADA system for long-term storage and analysis. Historical data is analyzed to identify potential problems, develop improvement strategies, and perform troubleshooting.
