With the increasingly severe environmental situation, the state requires power plants and related chemical enterprises to install desulfurization and denitrification equipment to ensure that the waste is discharged according to the standards and to reduce the pollution of the ecological environment. In the wet limestone-gypsum flue gas desulfurization equipment, the density of limestone slurry entering the absorption tower and the density of the absorption tower slurry need to be measured accurately, the former is related to the efficiency of desulfurization, and the latter is related to the quality of gypsum, which is the product of the absorption tower. Therefore, the project has high requirements for the measurement accuracy and stability of the online liquid density meter, and the corrosion, abrasion, deposition of suspended solid particles, scaling and other factors of the desulfurization slurry must be taken into account before the selection and application, to facilitate the measurement data to be stable, reliable and durable.

There are three main types of installation of digital density meters in the wet limestone-gypsum flue gas desulfurization system:

One: pipeline bypass or main pipeline flange installation. With this type of installation, it is necessary to control the flow rate of the slurry in the pipeline. It requires calculating the flow rate according to the actual flow rate size and then selecting the appropriate liquid density meters pipe diameter to control the flow rate to the appropriate value.

When the liquid density meter 4-20mA can only be installed in the main pipe, we will calculate the flow rate according to the actual flow, then choose the appropriate density meter pipe diameter to control the flow rate to the appropriate values.

Two: Double flange installation on the side wall of the tank. This type of installation will not cause air bubbles or media particles to be deposited or clogged. As long as the pressure take-off port avoids the vortex surface generated by the stirrer when stirring, it can ensure the stability of the measurement.

Three: Tank top insertion type installation. With this type of installation, it is necessary to immerse both the measuring diaphragm and the measuring rod in limestone slurry. In the long run, mud particles will adhere to the diaphragm, thus affecting the measurement accuracy.
