The magnetic digital water flow meter can only measure the flow of conductive liquids. The choice of the electromagnetic water flow meter to measure the flow of fluids must be electrically conductive, and conductivity shall not be less than 5 μs/cm. After the electromagnetic water flow meter operating normally, the staff uses water as a medium to test the measurement of the magnetic flow transmitter. In the test, the mag flow meter does not show the phenomenon. After checking, the reason is that the pharmaceutical process water conductivity is less than 3μs/cm, and conductivity is too low to cause the electromagnetic flowmeter do not work. Therefore, the magnetic flow transmitter can only measure the medium whose conductivity is≥ 5μs/cm. It should be noted that the magnetic digital water flow meter can not measure the flow of gas, steam, and pure water.
The electromagnetic flowmeter reliability is good. Generally speaking, the electromagnetic flow meter will not be damaged. However, because the media measured by the electromagnetic flowmeter are mostly suspended solids or dirty bodies, the electrode surface of the sensor of the electromagnetic digital water flow meter is more susceptible to contamination. If the electromagnetic flowmeter is not cleaned for a long time, it will also make it unable to work. In general, it is necessary to clean the electrodes of the electromagnetic flowmeter at regular intervals, to ensure the measurement accuracy of the mag flow meter.
The electromagnetic digital water flow meter plays a critical role in flow measurement. The mag flow meter can measure corrosive liquids, but as a meter selection personnel, must correctly provide the measured media properties. The premise of using the mag flow meter is that the measured liquid must be electrically conductive, and the conductivity can not be lower than the threshold value. According to the use of experience, the actual application of liquid conductivity is better than the mag flow meter specified threshold value is at least one order of magnitude larger. Good grounding of the electrode can not only enhance the correctness of the flowmeter but also extend the service life of the mag flow meter.
