The installation of the industrial pressure transmitter is a more complex process, because the installation of the industrial pressure transmitter needs to consider many factors: such as the measured medium, the application, the field environment, the design requirements, etc. of which the pressure source is an important part.

Pressure source unit

(1) The installation position of the pressure source component should be selected in the stable position of the measured material beam.

(2) When the pressure source component and the temperature source component are in the same pipe section, the pressure source component and the temperature source component should be installed on the upstream side of the temperature source component.

(3) The end of the pressure source component should not exceed the inner wall of the equipment or pipeline.

(4) When detecting the pressure of cloudy materials such as dust, solid particles or sediment, on vertical and inclined equipment and pipelines, the source components should be installed tilted upward, and the material flow should be installed at an acute Angle on the horizontal pipeline.

(5) When installing pressure source components on horizontal and inclined pipelines, the orientation of the pressure point should meet the following requirements:

When measuring gas pressure, it should be in the upper part of the pipeline.

When measuring liquid pressure, it should be within the range of 0º~45º Angle between the lower half of the pipeline and the horizontal center line of the pipeline.

When measuring steam pressure, it should be in the upper half of the pipeline, and the lower half and the horizontal center line of the pipeline at an Angle of 0º~45º.

1 Direct installation: This installation method is simple and uses less materials. More saves manpower and material resources, but this installation method is limited, only suitable for the occasion of appropriate operation

2 Remote flange type (with capillary): For some tanks or equipment requiring flange-mounted pressure/differential pressure transmitters, considering the installation location or ease of field reading, this installation method should be selected.

3 Bracket installation: This installation method is mostly used in industrial sites, because it cannot be directly installed on the pipeline or equipment due to the restrictions of pipeline design and operation position, so it is necessary to use a pressure guide pipe to induce pressure. This installation mode facilitates installation, wiring, adjustment, and later maintenance.
