Recently, we have successfully produced a custom-made gold-plated diaphragm for our customer’s differential pressure transmitter with dual remote seals. The product features one side with direct mounting and the other side equipped with a capillary remote seal. The remote seal diaphragm has undergone a special gold-plating process to enhance performance and durability in challenging environments.
Gold-plated diaphragms are widely used in applications that require resistance to corrosion, enhanced sensitivity, and extended service life. However, when using gold-plated diaphragms, there are several important considerations to ensure optimal performance:
Compatibility with Media: Gold-plated diaphragms are ideal for use in corrosive or aggressive environments. However, it's essential to verify the compatibility of the diaphragm with the media it will be in contact with. Certain chemicals or high-temperature fluids can degrade the gold-plated layer or affect its performance.
