High Frequency Non Contact Radar Level Transmitter Sensor
Principle
Using narrow microwave pulses, the radar level meter antenna sends out signals that travel through space at the speed of light. When these signals encounter the surface of the measured medium, some of the energy is reflected to the antenna.
The emitted pulses and the time gap between the sent and received pulses are directly proportional to the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium. Thanks to the rapid propagation of electromagnetic waves, these time intervals are extremely short, measured in nanoseconds.
The 90X series of 26G radar level transmitter employs specialized demodulation technology. This technology accurately distinguishes the transmitted pulses and their intervals, enabling precise calculations of the distance from the antenna to the surface of the measured medium.
